College Librarian & Director of Academic Commons Los Angeles
Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College, the College Librarian and Director of Academic Commons (CLDAC) is the chief administrator of the Library and the Academic Commons. The position is a voting member of the faculty without tenure. The CLDAC furthers the College’s and Library’s commitment to equity and justice by facilitating the development of diverse and inclusive scholarly information resources, services, and programs. The CLDAC provides leadership in envisioning the ways in which the Library and the Academic Commons support the curriculum as well as faculty and student scholarship; oversees a materials and operations budget; and leads a staff of 19 (16 FTE), including four direct reports.

Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator Los Angeles
Occidental College is looking for a licensed psychologist with training and experience working with young adult populations. The Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator provides direct counseling and psychotherapeutic services to undergraduate students. The Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator will additionally serve to oversee and supervise the current limited post-doctoral training program in conjunction with the Department of Disability Services. In addition to the post-doctoral program, the Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Director of Counseling to create and implement a Master’s level practicum program within the Emmons Wellness Center. The Staff Psychologist and Training Coordinator will serve as the second in charge of the Counseling Center Services. The position is 12 months in length.
