Reporting to the Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students, the Assistant Dean of Students for Student Support leads student support initiatives within the Dean of Students Office and plays a key role in the division's strategic planning. This position serves as the primary collaborator with Academic Affairs on policies and joint initiatives, leads behavioral interventions and threat assessments, supervises the Case Manager, supports student case management, and directs crisis response efforts. Additionally, the Assistant Dean oversees the Medical Leave of Absence Committee, manages the administration and record-keeping of all medical leave requests, and is an active member of the College’s Care Team and Student Progress Committee. |
Lead Dishroom Assistant

Under the direction of thew Associate Director of Campus Dining, the Lead Dishroom Assistant works in a team setting of Campus Dining sanitation staff and performs manual and machine ware-washing of service and preparation equipment. Sorts and removes trash, compostables and recyclables. Sweeps, mops and maintains floors and baseboards. Cleans and maintains walls, ceilings, fixtures and equipment. Assists in ensuring that health code regulations are strictly followed.

Field Research Assistant

Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Field Research Assistant is an experienced and enthusiastic AAUS scientific divers assisting with grant-funded research programs. Fieldwork is conducted 2-5 days per week, year-round. This role accurately interprets and follows established guidelines and procedures and collect accurate data. Field research is conducted out of King Harbor in Redondo Beach but other locations may include San Pedro, Dana Point, Oceanside, Santa Barbara, and San Diego, therefore field research assistants transport themselves and dive gear to these locations. |

Reporting to the Senior Director, Advancement Services the Associate Director, Advancement Operations plays a key leadership role in managing gift processing, gift accounting, and data integrity within the College’s advancement services team. The Associate Director oversees all aspects of charitable giving, including cash, stock, DAFs, and other non-cash contributions—ensuring compliance with IRS regulations, CASE guidelines, and institutional policies. The Associate Director works closely with the Business Office to reconcile fundraising data, maintain donor intent, and support financial reporting. The Associate Director will manage the Advancement CRM (Salesforce Education Cloud), optimizing its configuration and providing training to ensure effective use across teams. Through collaboration and oversight, the role supports efficient, accurate operations that enhance donor stewardship and fundraising strategy. |

Reporting to a Campus Safety Sergeant or Corporal, Campus Safety officers are the main workforce of the Occidental Campus Safety Department and are responsible for performing a wide variety of campus safety functions. Performs high visibility vehicle, bicycle and foot patrols on campus, at adjacent rental homes, and at sorority/ fraternity houses to discourage and apprehend lawbreakers, and to deter crime. |
