| Reporting to the Director, the Instructor will teach a range of core subjects, including Mathematics, English, Science, and a Foreign Language, to students in grades 9 through 12. This role requires the development and delivery of engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards, as well as the ability to assess student performance. The Instructor will provide individualized support to low-income and first-generation students. |

Residential Night Advisor

| The Upward Bound Summer Project employs two (2) college students as Residential Night Advisors to supervise, advise, and tutor approximately (70) seventy students from Belmont, Franklin, Lincoln, Sotomayor, and Wilson High Schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
The Residential Night Advisors ensure student participate safety and Upward Bound regulation compliance through overnight hall monitoring and supervision in an assigned residence hall.
The Residential Night Advisor will supervise approximately 70 high school students who are participating in a 6-week educational program at Occidental College during the summer. Residential Advisors report directly to the Assistant Director. |

Residential Tutor

| Reporting to the Director, the Residential Tutor will provide supplemental instruction in Mathematics, English, Science, and Foreign Languages to 70 LAUSD high school students. Residential Tutors assist in assigned courses, offering academic support and guidance to enhance student learning. Additionally, they supervise students' daily activities, ensuring a positive and structured environment. Residential Tutors will reside in the residence hall for six weeks to fulfill their responsibilities. |

Executive Director, Principal Gifts

| Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the Executive Director, Principal Gifts provides strategic leadership to grow Occidental’s Principal Gifts Program. The Executive Director is responsible for identifying, cultivating and soliciting transformational philanthropic investments ($500K+) that advance the College’s mission and top priorities, managing a portfolio of Occidental’s most generous donors and high-capacity prospects. The Executive Director will provide guidance and mentorship for members of the Institutional Advancement team on fundraising strategies for securing principal gifts.
The Executive Director, Principal Gifts, will work closely with senior leadership, including leadership volunteers, to deepen engagement and expand the pool of principal gift supporters. In collaboration with the Vice President of Institutional Advancement, they also ensure the President’s active involvement with top donors and prospects. |

Coordinator, Donor Relations

| Reporting to the Director of Donor Relations and situated within Advancement Operations under the leadership of the Associate Vice President, the Donor Relations Coordinator supports the delivery of a thoughtful, timely, and high‑quality donor experience. The Coordinator supports donor acknowledgement, stewardship, and data management processes, ensuring the institution meaningfully recognizes philanthropic support and fulfills stewardship commitments at every level.
The Coordinator works closely with donor relations, advancement operations, and campus partners to manage stewardship workflows. The Coordinator produces donor communications and recognition materials and supports stewardship initiatives and events. The Coordinator maintains accurate donor records, through hands‑on coordination, collaboration, and attention to detail. The Coordinator will contribute to a culture of stewardship, accountability, and donor-centered engagement across the institution.
